This tented safari camp is situated in the 232,000ha private Kwando concession which is fronted by more than 80km of the Kwando River, dividing north-western Botswana from the Caprivi Strip. This offers exclusive access to one of the most remote and unexplored wildlife strongholds left in Botswana.

The area incorporates the Linyanti wetlands, huge tracts of mopane forest and vast open plains. This variety of natural habitat makes Kwando unique, drawing wildlife and birdlife in abundance as herds of elephant and buffalo roam the plains adjoining the Kwando River, whilst lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and sable are frequently sighted.

The lounge, bar and dining area is under thatch, and activities include game drives in open game viewing vehicles (the afternoon drive incorporates a night drive), boating on the river and walking with a professional guide.

Kwando Lagoon is situated in the northern section of the 2,320 sq.km Kwando concession, Botswana.

Meals at Kwando Lagoon Camp are served in the open-air communal dining area, and include a light breakfast before the morning's activity, and a hearty brunch on your return.

Afternoon tea is a grand affair with a large variety of delicious treats to fill you up before your afternoon activities, while dinner is comprised of three delicious courses.

Accommodation at Kwando Lagoon Camp is in 6 classic Meru tents set under massive ebony and marula trees with shady lawns and a view of the lagoon.

Each tent has a bedroom area furnished in Rhodesian teak, reed-enclosed en suite bathroom facilities, and an open area shower.
