Migration Camp is a luxury tent campsite with walk-in tents situated on the Nxai Pan, a large salt pan that is part of the larger Makgadikgadi Pans.

A water hole is situated close to the entrance gate in the middle of a grassy plain and sprinkled with umbrella thorn trees.

Spend your days exploring where the giraffe, wildebeest, buffalo, hyena, aardvark, kudu, impala, ostrich, springbok, jackal, bat-eared fox & a myriad of birdlife and smaller creatures all gather to quench their thirst.

The Nxai Pan has become a national game reserve, with excellent wildlife spottings and a seasonal home to large herds of zebra, gemsbok and elephant, once the rains begin.

The zebra leave their young at Nxai Pan with the huge groups of young springbok - creating a spectacular wildlife display.

There is also fantastic cheetah and lion viewing opportunities as well as the chance to watch them hunt.

All game drives are taken in a safe open four-wheel drive that is canopied.

The hospitable camp staff provide the ultimate luxury service for your comfort & to ensure you are relaxed, you are not expected to take part in camp activities.

Meals are taken in a separate dining tent.

A yummy light breakfast is served before you set out on your morning activity.

When you return after the morning activity you will be served a fantastic brunch and will be allowed to relax.

Tea is served every afternoon, snacks and ice cold drinks are available on game drives and by the campfire before dinner.

At dinner, you will enjoy a delicious traditional menu that the camp chefs are extremely proud of.

The luxury Meru style tented camps are set up before you arrive and are walk-in and spacious.

The tents are insect proof and have en-suite bathrooms that are roofed, also insect proof and have both a shower & a toilet.

The camp supplies you with a flashlight, shampoo, body lotion, body soap, towels, face cloths & insect repellent.

Since the camps are in remote locations, they generate their own electricity in order to provide light for your convenience.

Electrical plug outlets are not available and therefore appliances such as hairdryers & electric shavers cannot be used.
