Xigera Camp is situated on a large island within the Moremi Game Reserve, in a unique and beautiful location made up of wetlands, deep delta channels and lush vegetation.

The camp consists of a lounge, pub and dining area, built under thatch and overlooking a permanently flowing channel. The tented suites are connected to the main lodge by a series of wooden walkways, and offer secluded and comfortable accommodation. Xigera is the only camp in the area, allowing you a private experience of this unique region.

The area lends itself to a number of activities allowing you to explore the area. Explore the waterways on mokoro trips, and enjoy the sunset on a boat cruise. If the water levels are low, you can go on game drives around the area. Commonly sighted game include lion, leopard, hyena and sitatunga antelope.

The area is also home to a rich abundance of bird life, with the Pel's Fishing Owl, African Skimper, Slaty Egret and Wattled Crane all being resident in the area.

A unique feature at Xigera Camp is a footbridge at the front of the island, providing the only walkway for predators to cross from island to island. At the foot of the walkway is a sand pit, used as a means to identify the animals that pass through the camp by their footprints.

Built in one of the most beautiful corners of the Okavango, Xigera Camp is situated on "Paradise Island" within the Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta.

Xigera Camp's dining and pub area is under thatch overlooking the river that flows past the front of camp. Dinner may also be served in the open-air boma in good weather.

Dinner comprises a 3-course meal and generally speaking, the starter and desert is served, whilst the main course is buffet style.

Xigera Camp consists of 10 luxuriously furnished tented suites, with en-suite facilities. The tents are built in a shady forest, with raised rooms overlooking a floodplain and waterhole.
