Xakanaxa Camp is situated in the lush northern region of the Moremi Game Reserve, a unique area made up of permanent delta waterways, vast floodplains, a lagoon and dry woodlands.

A thatched, central living area is positioned to overlook the Khwai River and lagoon. The area is made up of an open-air lounge with large comfortable couches, and an elegant dining area.

A plunge pool and sun deck overlook the delta waterways, giving you the opportunity to spend a lazy day in the sun as high quality staff at Xakanaxa Camp cater to your every need.

Spend some time exploring the region from the water on boating safaris and short mokoro trips. You can also view the game and birdlife on land-based activities such as game drives and trips to nearby heronries.

The kitchen is renowned for its superb traditional safari fare served with a Pan-African touch, all accompanied by good quality South African wines.

Guests usually eat together in the main dining room, although Xakanaxa Camp also caters individually for those wishing to dine in private.

Accommodation at Xakanaxa Camp consists of 12 luxury, spacious safari tents set on wooden platforms, each with an en-suite hot and cold shower, flush toilet and wash basin.

The tents are fully equipped, tastefully furnished and overlook the Khwai River. Each has a private viewing deck with comfortable loungers.
