Chitabe Camp is situated on a beautiful island in the Okavango Delta, in a private concession bordered by the Moremi Game Reserve.

The area's vegetation is diverse, hosting mopane woodlands, floodplains and permanent waterways. The local wildlife includes healthy bird and mammal populations, and hippo, lion, zebra, giraffe, cheetah and kudu are commonly spotted.

The main camp is positioned on a raised deck, affording great views of the floodplains from the thatched dining room and bar. This elevated area allows the animals to roam freely, and they often come at night to seek shelter under the walkways.

You can enjoy cooling off in the pool after a day of game-viewing activities. Day and night game drives with an experienced guide are offered, along with nature walks.

Chitabe Camp is a private reserve located alongside the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta.

Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and snacks at the bar, while you take in the views of the African sunset. Dinner comprises a 3-course meal, with the main course being a buffet. It can be enjoyed under the stars in the Kgotla. Coffee and liqueurs are served around the camp fire.

Accommodation at Chitabe consists of 8 spacious, East African-style tents that are built on elevated wooden decks, beneath a canopy of indigenous trees. You have a choice between either a twin or a double room, and each tent has en-suite bathroom facilities, as well as an additional outdoor shower. You can enjoy views of the surrounding area from your own private veranda.
