Savute Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the dry Savute Channel in the Chobe National Park and forms part of the rich Savute ecosystem renowned for its large concentration of elephant and lion.

The camp is made up of 12 spacious timber and glass chalets that are all beautifully furnished in fresh colours. The main building is made of thatch and timber, with a lounge, library, cocktail bar and viewing deck that's ideal for watching game at the watering hole.

In the summer months you can view leopard, cheetah, black-backed jackal and elephant bulls from within the park, or you can go on 4x4 safari for a deeper exploration of the area. You may be lucky enough to witness the second biggest summer zebra migration which takes place at Savute.

After a day out in African nature, cool off with a dip in the plunge pool or sip a cocktail on the viewing deck. Spend the evenings on your own private deck watching the sunset and roaming game. On cold winter nights, warm up by the campfire after dinner.

Savute Safari Lodge has 12 twin-bedded luxury wood, thatch and glass safari suites and each chalet is sheltered from the hot Chobe sun by camel thorn trees.

The suites have spacious interiors, glass sliding doors, private viewing decks and en-suite bathrooms.
