Savute Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the Savute Channel in the Chobe National Park, forming part of the rich Savute ecosystem.
The camp is made up of 12 spacious timber and glass chalets, sheltered by Camelthorn trees on the shore of the Savute Channel. The main building is made of thatch and timber, with a lounge, library, cocktail bar and viewing deck.
In the summer months there is a large population of African wildlife and game, hosted by the park's rich ecosystem. The park is known for its large lion and hyena populations, and it is home to leopard, cheetah, black-backed jackal and elephant bulls.
The rich wildlife allows you to enjoy the African environment from the comfort of the park, or you can make a deeper exploration of the area with the 4X4 safaris offered by the park. To complete the African experience, take a guided tour of the San rock paintings in the Gubatsa Hills.
After a day out in African nature, cool off with a dip in the plunge pool or sip a cocktail on the viewing deck. For some privacy, spend the evening on your own private deck as you watch the sunset and roaming game. On cold winter nights, warm up by the camp fire after dinner.
