Fly from Maun to Selinda airstrip, where your canoe adventure begins. Once the group has been briefed, the trail starts with a short walk to the canoe station where you'll retrieve your canoe for the next few days paddling.

There is no set distance to be covered on the first day, so you'll paddle leisurely until just before sunset, where you'll find a suitable camp site on the banks of the Selinda Spillway. Your dome tented camp will be set up and you'll enjoy well-deserved sundowners around the campfire.

Today you'll rise early and enjoy a warming cup of tea or coffee with a light breakfast, and then head off down the river for a full day's paddling.

Enjoy a delicious lunch en-route in a nice shady spot, with the possibility of stretching your legs a little if a wildlife opportunity appears and it's worth following on foot.

Tonight you'll camp in another riverside location, enjoying the campfire camaraderie and a delicious freshly prepared meal.

Enjoy another early breakfast while camp is dismantled and head off back along the Spillway for another full day's paddling.

You might spot wildlife on the banks, so keep your eyes open for game-viewing opportunities.

Your final day of your canoe adventure arrives, as you head out after breakfast and paddle until around 11h00, where you'll be met by a game drive vehicle and transferred to the Selinda airstrip.

At this point, it is recommended you spend a night at either Selinda or Zarafa to enjoy some pampering after being out on the river for four days, but if not this is where you'll part ways with your group.
