Continue further into Namibia, to the Namib Desert, where the sight of towering dunes welcomes you.

Enjoy a walk to Sossusvlei, home to some of the world's largest and oldest sand dunes. Visit the Sesriem Canyon and explore the many pools where you can enjoy a refreshing dip.

Travel towards the coast, to Swakopmund - Namibia's second largest town. This seaside town is wedged between the thundering ocean and the barren dunes of the desert.

Spend some time on the beaches or venture out amongst the dunes on a quad bike or sandboard.

Travel to the dramatic Damaraland region - a haunting semi-desert landscape with burnt mountains.

Visit the shipwrecks along the coast, the Petrified Forest and the San rock paintings in the area.

Continue your journey to the Etosha National Park. This dry lake is home to a variety of wildlife species.

Stay in a lodge on the edge of the pan and set out on daily game drives, watching as the animals come to quench their thirst at the waterhole. Look forward to seeing species that include elephants, herds of antelope and lions.

Drive to Namibia's capital, Windhoek. The town exudes a combination of German colonial architecture with a more contemporary style to create a truly unique atmosphere.

Spend some time getting to know the super friendly locals, or simply relax at one of the many street-side cafes, watching the world go by.

Set out early for the journey into Botswana to the Kalahari where you can enjoy a guided walk through the area, learning about Bushman culture as go.

Spend the night in rustic grass huts in the heart of the Kalahari.

The morning brings with it your journey to the only inland delta in the world - the Okavango Delta.

Explore the many channels and waterways of this unique location in a mokoro (dug-out canoe), set out on foot for a guided nature walk, or take a guided game drive.

Drive to Maun, arriving in the late afternoon, where you can enjoy a hot shower before dinner. Spend the night in a twin chalet or permanent safari tent.

Set out early for the drive to the Makgadikgadi Pans, a lake that dried up thousands of years ago, leaving behind two vast saltpans.

During the rainy season, the pans become a hive of activity, with many bird and animal species coming to quench their thirst.

Make your way to Zambia and the spectacular Victoria Falls. While here, you can take part in a number of exciting activities, including white water rafting on the rushing Zambezi River, elephant-back safaris and even a thrilling bungee jump over the Falls.
