- Day 1: Explore the City of Cape Town

You begin your tour with a day at leisure in Cape Town to enjoy the many optional attractions and activities available in this magnificent city.
Optional activities include tours to Robben Island, Cape Point Nature Reserve and Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the many wine estates of Paarl, Franschoek and Stellenbosch.
- Day 2: Head up the West Coast to Lamberts Bay

After a pre-departure meeting, you head up the West Coast past the West Coast National Park to Lamberts Bay, an attractive fishing town on an unspoilt stretch of coastline.
Here you'll visit a rare breeding colony of the Cape Gannet.
- Days 3-4: Marvel at the Fish River Canyon
- Itinerary
Your first border crossing is into Namibia on Day 3 as you head for the awesome Fish River Canyon. Your guides will assist with all border formalities.
The west coast region is particularly spectacular in spring, when carpets of wild flowers are in bloom, turning the entire region into a yellow, red and orange maze.
You spend the night at Canon Lodge or Ais Ais (dependent on season). There is a restaurant, small shop which only stocks basics and a swimming pool for relaxation.
There is ample time to visit the canyon, or partake in an optional walk. The Fish River Canyon is one of the most staggering sights in Africa, and the 2nd largest canyon in the world.
- Days 5-6: Scale the Dunes of the Namib

You continue on to theNamib Naukluft National Park and the giant sand dunes of Sossusvlei. This is one of the world's oldest deserts and home to the highest sand dunes in the world!
Adventure activities abound, so you're sure to find something exciting to keep you busy.
On Day 6 you leave early in the morning and enter the National Park. You climb up Dune 45 for a stunning aerial view of the surrounding desert, after which you proceed to Sossusvlei where you are free to explore. Stunning photographic opportunities await you in the park with its huge ochre coloured dunes.
On your return to the lodge you'll stop off at the smaller Sesriem canyon. Back at your lodge, there is a small swimming pool if you wish to relax and soak up the sun.
- Days 7-8: Feel the Excitement in Swakopmund

You spend 2 nights in simple lodge accommodation at Swakopmund, a delightful Bavarian-style town, situated snugly between sea and desert.
Great beaches, deep-sea fishing, quad biking, dune boarding, flights over the desert, plus an array of shops, bars and restaurants have given this town its reputation as Namibia's 'summer capital'.
In Swakopmund you are free to explore at your leisure or partake in the many optional activities. This is also a chance to catch up on laundry, banks and communications.
- Days 9-10: Search for the Big 5 in Etosha

Leaving Swakopmund you journey via the awesome granite moonscape scenery that Namibia is so famous for. The mountains and granite mounds have been home to the San people for thousands of years.
You arrive at the world famous Etosha National Park, ready for your big game safari experience. All camps have floodlit waterholes, which are excellent for after dinner game viewing, as well as swimming pools for cooling off during the heat of the day.
You enjoy 3 game drives at Etosha, where typically you make an early start, which is ideal for morning game viewing, and drive to some of the waterholes in the park before heading back to the rest camp for brunch.
In the afternoon you have another game drive and return to the rest camp before dark for dinner.
- Day 11: Wander Through the Waterberg

You leave Etosha bound for the stunning Waterberg Plateau National Park.
Historically significant as the site of the war between the Germans and the Hereros, the area has now become a haven for many endangered species and is renowned for its incredible rock formations and interesting walks.
Your time in the Waterberg is your own and you are free to walk in the park at your leisure. Excellent sign posted hiking trails make for easy self-guided walks. Optional game drives and guided walks are available.
- Day 12: Shop in Cosmopolitan Windhoek
- Day 13: Enjoy a Final Breakfast
