For a honeymoon neither of you will ever forget, an African safari is hard to beat. Starting in Kenya, you'll experience the wild heart of Africa on safari in some of the world's most famous game parks: Amboseli, where elephants roam in front of a backdrop of snowy Kilimanjaro; the Samburu, where you'll stay in a fantasy tree house lodge; and the Masai Mara, home to the wildebeest migration - the greatest wildlife show on earth. Then it's off to Zanzibar where you'll spend your days enjoying all the delights of this tropical island paradise.
- Day 1: Nairobi
- Itinerary
On arrival at Nairobi airport you are met and transferred to the Norfolk Hotel. In the afternoon you go on a half-day excursion to the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. The centre is a sanctuary for the highly endangered Rothschild giraffe and has an elevated viewing-cum-feeding platform.
Depending on your choice of tour, your accommodation will be the Panafric or The Norfolk Hotel. The Norfolk is a colonial-style hotel set in immaculate grounds, while the Panafric is simple, comfortable accommodation in a residential area with easy access into the city.

- Days 2 - 3: Amboseli National Park
- Itinerary
You start your day with an early morning transfer to Wilson airport for a scheduled flight to Amboseli. On arrival you will be met by the camp's own 4x4 vehicle and transferred to your lodge with a game drive en route. After lunch and a short siesta, you go on an afternoon game drive, returning to camp as the sun sets.
The next day you go on an early morning game drive, and later, an afternoon game drive. The park is the site of the longest running elephant study in the world, and is also home to lion, hyena, buffalo and over 400 bird species.

- Days 4 - 5: Samburu National Reserve
- Itinerary
This morning you fly to Samburu via Nairobi. On arrival you are transferred to Samburu Intrepids Camp or Sarova Shaba Camp. After lunch you can enjoy a game drive, returning to camp as the sun sets. The Samburu Reserve houses a variety of game unique to this area inlcuding the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, gerenuk and Beisa oryx.
On day 4 you go on an early morning game drive followed by breakfast and time to relax on the lawns overlooking the river. After lunch there will be another game drive, returning to camp as the sun sets.

- Days 6 - 7: Masai Mara National Reserve
- Itinerary
After an early morning game drive you are transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you are transferred to your camp for lunch. Governors' Camp lies on the banks of the Mara River, while Mara Sarova Camp is set in a small, forested valley. In the afternoon you go on a game drive returning to camp as the sun sets.
The next day you go on early morning and afternoon game drives, allowing enough time between game viewing activities to relax and enjoy your surroundings. You can also organise a hot air balloon safari at dawn, as the Mara comes to life (own expense).

- Day 8: Nairobi
- Itinerary
Go on an early morning game drive followed by breakfast, and then board a scheduled flight back to Nairobi. On arrival at Nairobi Wilson Airport you are transferred to the Norfolk Hotel or the Panafric Hotel where you spend a night.

- Days 9 - 11: Zanzibar
- Itinerary
After breakfast, you transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your beach resort for three days of complete relaxation on this magical island.
You can spend your days doing as much or as little as you choose. Zanzibar is known for its tropical waters, sandy beaches, world-class scuba diving and historical Stone Town with its fascinating architecture.
