Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be met and transferred to the Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to the Shaba Nature Reserve.

Once at the reserve, your safari adventure begins with a drive to Joy's Camp. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool, or at the Camp's water hole observing the wildlife as they come for a drink.

After a short game drive, you'll return to the camp to finish packing and start your journey to the Matthew's Range and the Kitich Camp.

Situated in an isolated valley of the Samburu Nature Reserve, the Kitich Camp is a small intimate oasis. Sit by the open fire in the Camp's cosy lounge, and watch the elephants, buffalo, and occasional leopard as they wander through the flood lit river glade below.

The Kitich Camp is all about game viewing on foot. Explore the forest surroundings over the next two days with the local Samburu tribesmen as they take you out and teach you their methods for tracking wildlife.

Later in the day hike to the natural swimming pools and cool off in the crystal clear mountain stream. Return to the Camp in time for dinner and a delectable meal with the Camp owners.

Today you'll make your way to the Kalama Wildlife Conservancy and, after a short game drive, to the Saruni Samburu Safari Lodge.

If time permits, partake in a night game drive in the conservancy to observe the spectacular nocturnal animals as they begin their day.

This morning after a final game drive in the Samburu transfer to the local airstrip and board a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara, where you'll be met and taken to the Saruni, Masai Mara.

Before dinner, if possible, head out on an early evening game drive through the protected Aitong area.
