Land in Nairobi in the morning and travel to Tsavo West National Park, arriving at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. This was the first lodge to be built in the park and is in a prime position with views across the park to Mt Kilimanjaro. The water hole and salt lick in front of the lodge is an attraction for wild animals and different species of birds.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to look for elephant, giraffe, impala, the rare lesser Kudu (Tandala in Swahili) and dikdik. Return to the lodge at sunset and enjoy a delicious dinner.

The Tsavo West National Park is covered in volcanic cones, rocky outcrops and lava flows. The northern part of Tsavo West is the most developed in terms of lodges and infrastructure and has spectacular scenery with a rolling volcanic landscape carpeted in long grass and dense bush. The Big Five can be found in the park along with a fine range of antelope species.

An afternoon drive will take you to Amboseli National Park where you will be staying at Amboseli Serena Lodge, in the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro, for the next 2 nights.

Amboseli National Park offers you the best opportunity of seeing the critically endangered black rhino, along with a spectacular range of wildlife including; buffalo, cheetah, gazelle, lion, hyena, jackal, wildebeest and zebra, to name a few.

Enjoy breakfast at Amboseli Serena Lodge before driving to Nairobi, where you will stop for lunch and then continue on to the Great Rift Valley arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park in the mid afternoon. Later on, you will enjoy an afternoon game-drive through the park.

Spend the night at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, set above Lake Nakuru, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens with natural foliage and a startling variety of flowers.

Lake Nakuru is a successful rhino sanctuary with both black rhino and white rhino as well as having a breeding herd of the endangered Rothschild giraffe. There are also good chances of seeing leopard in this park.

After breakfast, drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, Kenya's most famous wildlife reserve, to the Sarova Mara Tented Camp where you will spend your last 2 nights. The lodge is built around a natural spring and the forest trees and undergrowth are sanctuary to many different birds as well as bush buck and dik dik.

After lunch enjoy an afternoon game-drive until sunset.

The following day enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in the legendary Masai Mara, with its unrivalled open plains, rolling savannahs and overwhelming abundance of wildlife. In the heat of the day, you can relax by the pool at the camp.
