It's what Kenya travel is all about: the greatest show on earth can be viewed in Kenya for a few weeks every year when the Great Wildebeest Migration passes through the Masai Mara.
It's a jaw-dropping spectacle and the best way to experience it is to stay at one of the many great lodges and view all the frantic action from safari vehicles under the guidance of a trained ranger.
A Kenya travel experience can be hot and dusty work: why not wash off the red dust of Africa with a few days on the beach? Kenya's beaches boast fine sand, warm water and excellent water activities - including great scuba-diving.
With many countries a bush and beach vacation involves more than one country whereas Kenya wraps it all up in one - from popular bustling resorts to remote, deserted beaches, Kenya has the lot.

They've seen the movie, they know the soundtrack, now it's time to travel to Kenya and introduce your kids to the real thing.
Kenya has been doing the family safari in style for years - specially designed accommodation, kids clubs and a whole range of family-friendly services are just part of the deal. The rest is prowling out on the savannah.
A unique way of viewing game - and to experience the stunning scenery - is from a hot-air balloon. Balloon trips are offered in the Masai Mara - we recommend the Kichwa Tembo Safari - and offer you an incredible experience as you travel over the horizon-hugging savannah. The only noise is the wind; the only sight is Africa.
There are also balloon safaris in Amboseli National Park - with Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the African plains.
Cultural interaction is a big part of a Kenya travel experience but with many ethnic groups it is difficult to pin down a definitive culture. Because of their link to the reserves, the Maasai and the Samburu are probably the most accessible people to visitors and you will be able to interact with these proud and fascinating people in an unobtrusive, reciprocal way.
