Amboseli Conservation Area

The Amboseli Conservation Area includes a number of large and small, yet equally important, wildlife areas in Kenya.

The Amboseli National Park and the Chyulu Hills National Park are located within the Amboseli conservation Area and are its two biggest attractions.

The Kilimanjaro-Kimana Game Sanctuary and the Selenkay Conservation Area can also be found here. Both of these wildlife sanctuaries are vital wildlife conservation areas and they link the Amboseli and Tsavo ecosystems. Elephant migrate through Selenkay as they make their way from Tsavo to Amboseli.

The Amboseli Conservation Area also contains a few large community-owned Maasai ranches on which wildlife and cattle co-exist.
