After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport transfer to the Safari Park Hotel for the night. The evening is yours to enjoy and explore Nairobi.

Departing after breakfast, you'll travel north towards Kenya's fertile highlands and the Rift Escarpment. Passing the impressive Longonot earth satellite station, continue along across the Rift Valley until you reach the Mara Simba in the Masai Mara.

Begin your safari, after lunch, as you explore this world-renowned game park on an afternoon game drive. The next day head out on morning and afternoon game drives to continue your exploration.

Though the Mara is famous for the 'Great Migration,' the park has plenty of other types of wildlife, including the Big 5 - lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino.

Heading back across the Rift Valley, observe the acres of landscape that's dotted with wheat and barley, as you make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park and the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Take an opportunity in the afternoon to drive around this stunning park. Though there is a fair amount of wildlife, such as buffalo, lion, and rhino, most visitors come to see the thousands of pink flamingos that turn the shoreline of the lake - pink.

Following an early breakfast, proceed south, via Nairobi, for Amboseli National Park. Stopping for a picnic lunch, you'll arrive at the Ol Tukai Lodge in the evening after a small game drive once inside the park.

Known for its spectacular views of Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is also one of the best places in Kenya to spot the endangered black rhino. Spend the next day searching again for the elephants, rhino, and buffalo who live in the park.

Today, you'll cross into Tanzania as you journey to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, you transfer to a 4x4 safari vehicle for the rest of your tour, and start on your way to the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

The drive is quite scenic as you pass many picturesque villages as well as several coffee and banana plantations. The lodge is situated on the top of the Rift Valley escarpment overlooking the spectacular park and Lake Manyara.

Head down the escarpment into the diverse environment - soda lake, dense woodlands, and steep cliffs - that is Lake Manyara National Park as you search for the various wildlife- tree climbing lions, elephants, and cheetahs - that lives in this unique environment.

After returning to the lodge for lunch, you begin to cross the stunning countryside as it slowly flattens into the plains of the Serengeti. From here, you'll understand why the local Masai people, named the area as they did - 'endless plains.'

Hopefully you will start spotting the wildlife as you enter the park and head for the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Tomorrow, head out on a morning and afternoon game drive to explore this awe-inspiring national park for the famous Big 5 - elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos.

After an early morning wake up, you depart for the Ngorongoro Crater as you search out some more wildlife as you travel back across the Serengeti Plains.

Along the way, you'll make a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge to learn about the discoveries made by Dr. Leakey, and to have a picnic lunch.

Following lunch, you continue on to the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for the next two nights.

The next day you'll descend into the crater to go on a game drive of the floor. Home to nearly 25,000 animals, the Ngorongoro Crater is a spectacular landscape phenomenon with some excellent game viewing. Once a giant volcano, these days, it's the largest intact caldera with walls almost 600 metres high.

Black rhinos, zebras, and hippos are sheltered within its rim, while elephants wander the forests above, and lions hunt on the grassy plains of the crater floor.

Get one last look of the crater as you head south-east through the Karatu district towards the Tarangire National Park. Once inside the park, enjoy a small game drive on your way to the Tarangire Sopa Lodge for lunch.

The remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a drive exploring the park in search of it's residential wildlife. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

After breakfast, leave the Tarangire National Park behind as you make your way to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch continue north, crossing into Kenya, and onto Nairobi for dinner.

Your tour ends after dinner at either the airport, or a city centre hotel.
