Begin your safari with a visit to the Lewa Downs Conservancy, then continue your journey through some of Kenya's spectacular wildlife areas including Samburu and Masai Mara National Reserves. During your tour you will stay at luxurious camps which are named after famous pioneers and explorers, and are steeped in history. Activities include day and night game drives, and guided walks through abundant game areas. Camel, horse and balloon safaris are also possible.
- Day 1: Nairobi - Lewa Downs
- Itinerary
You are met at your Nairobi hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to the Lewa Downs Conservancy. Upon arrival are met by a ranger and transferred to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon and early evening you go on a game drive before returning to the camp for dinner.

- Days 2-3: Lewa Downs
- Itinerary
You can spend you days on exciting morning or night game drives. Other options include horse or camel rides through the Lewa Conservancy, or you could visit an ancient Acheulian archeological site.

- Days 4-5: Samburu National Park
- Itinerary
After breakfast you transfer to the airstrip for your early flight to Samburu. You are transferred to your camp where you have lunch, followed by afternoon activities. Larsen's Samburu is a tranquil tented camp on the grassy banks of the Uaso Nyiri River, a lifeline for the Samburu National Reserve. You have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife here including lion, elephant, cheetah and leopard.

- Days 6-8: Masai Mara
- Itinerary
Wake up to the surrounding sounds of the bush, followed by breakfast and an early morning game drive. You are then transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara. You are met by a camp vehicle and transferred to Elephant Pepper Camp. Activites here range from day and night game drives in 4x4 vehicles to walking safaris. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and experienced and their stories around the campfire at night are fascinating. A selection of beverages is also included.

Optional add-on: Meru National Park is a gem and can easily be added into this itinerary for 2 nights. The ambience of Elsa's Kopje fits perfectly with the other camps used here. It is small and private and named after Elsa, Joy Adamson's famous domesticated lioness. Visitors fly to Meru, thus fitting the extension between Amboseli and Samburu.
