Olarro is an artistically styled retreat situated in the Loita Hills of south-western Kenya. Lying within a 10,000 hectare private conservancy, Olarro is surrounded by 150 000 acres of Maji Moto Group Ranch which is owned by the local Maasai people.

Uniquely designed to blend in with the surrounding rolling hills, the lodge is built with flowing curves. The rooms are a serene white complemented by earth tone accessories and furnishings.

There are 2 lounge areas for guests at Olarro: the Northern Lounge provides panoramic views of the Loita plains and is used by guests of the 7 Main Olarro cottages. There's also a sundeck, bar, open-air fireplace, swimming pool and mini spa offering a full range of wellness treatments.

The Deck Lounge is a private lounge used exclusively by the Little Olarro guests. The 2-storey building boasts a fully equipped kitchen and massage room on the lower level and a large lounge, dining area and sundeck on the upper level.

Take part in day and night game drives, bush walks and specialised bird watching with licensed guides, or sleep under the stars in Olarro's luxury mobile tented camp in the Masai Mara.

Meals at Olarro are served either in the Northern Lounge or served alfresco at a poolside table. Guests staying at the Main Olarro cottages dine in the Northern Lounge overlooking the savannah.

Guests staying at Little Olarro have their own kitchen, dining area, deck and veranda area from which to enjoy their delectable African cuisine in private.

Olarro consists of 7 Main Olarro cottages and the Little Olarro private house.

Main Olarro: these cottages are situated on the north side of the property and of the 7 cottages, 3 are twin rooms and 4 are double rooms. Six of the cottages are joined through a common sitting area making them perfect accommodation for families or groups of friends.

Little Olarro: a private house for guests who want total exclusivity and seclusion which is made up of a luxury suite with a master bedroom, a smaller twin bedroom, lounge, dining area and veranda. The house is situated a short distance from the main lodge and has its own entrance and deck area.
