In the morning you are driven to Mount Kenya National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Serena Mountain Lodge. The lodge overlooks a floodlit natural water-hole and salt lick, and your first afternoon and evening on tour can be spent viewing game from the lodge itself. Elephant, buffalo, rhino and waterbuck are all regularly seen coming out of the dense surrounding rain forest.

- Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast you are driven to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Your afternoon is spent on a game drive in the Lake Nakuru Park. The shallow soda lake is home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo, and the park also provides a sanctuary for buffalo, waterbuck, impala, Rothschild giraffe, and leopard.
You spend the night at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, set on a small plateau with views of the lake.

Today you go on both morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. Lion are common in the Mara, as are the rest of Africa's 'Big 5'. Other animals you are likely to see on your drives include zebra, jackal, gazelle, giraffe and eland.
You spend a second night at Sarova Mara Camp, within the borders of the game rich Mara sanctuary.

- Day 5: Nairobi & Mombassa
- Itinerary
After breakfast at the lodge you are driven back to Nairobi, arriving at around noon. In the afternoon you transfer to the airport, for your flight to Mombassa.
You arrive in the late afternoon at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa; a beautiful retreat on the beach, with a Padi water sports centre and world class spa.
- Days 6-8: Mombasa

Mombasa is a vibrant mixture of the ancient and modern, with an interesting blend of African, Arab and Asian cultures. Silver white sandy beaches fringed with palms, bright bougainvillea, mangrove swamps, coral reefs and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean all make this an idyllic escape.
