The Solio Lodge is part of The Safari Collection, and is located on the most successful private rhino breeding reserve - Solio Game Conservancy - in Kenya.

Take the opportunity to explore, on day or night game drives, the conservancy for the 74 black and 155 white rhinos that inhabit the area along with other wildlife including zebra, buffalo, giraffe, and other antelope.

Optionally, you can book excursions to Aberdares and Mount Kenya, helicopter flights, or go horse back riding around the conservancy.

The Solio Lodge is situated on the Solio Game Conservancy between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains.

The main restaurant serves up a variety of delicious local and international meals through out the day. You can also request to dine in private outside of your cottage.

There are 6 individual open-concept cottages. Each have a separate sitting area with a fireplace, and en suite bathrooms with shower and bath. Large windows offer you breathtaking views of Mount Kenya from inside, while a veranda, with deck chairs, offers you an all around view from outside.

Two of the cottages are family units and can accommodate two extra beds to sleep up to 5 people.
