Each Loisaba Star Bed is designed on a raised, handcrafted, wooden platform that is partially covered with a thatched roof. Homemade 'Mukokoteni' can either be wheeled onto the open deck for a night under the stars, or left under the shelter of the roof.

The Loisaba ranch is home to a number of endemic northern species such as the gerenuk, Grevy's zebra and the reticulated giraffe, but elephant, lion and leopard also roam through the area.

The Loisaba Star Beds - Kiboko and Koija - each have 2 double starbed sleeping platforms and 1 large family platform, which all have en-suite bathroom facilities and showers.

Each double platform is designed for 1 or 2 people. The family platform accommodates 4 people.
