Magical Location - on an island in a beautiful archipelago off the coast of Kenya.
Natural Diversity - the house is situated between the idyllic beach and the primary forest.
Bountiful Activities - offering a wide range of water activities, including snorkelling, and fishing.
The Red Pepper House is situated on a typically tropical island in an archipelago just off the coast of Kenya. The house itself is situated not far from the quaint Lamu Town.
The Red Pepper House offers distinctly Swahili inspired accommodation in 5 thatched Nyumbas (houses) each with its own view over the sparkling Indian Ocean. Each Nyumba has a private veranda and boma enclosure - ideal for romantic private dining - as well as an open-air shower.
Spend lazy days reclining on the powdery beach or exploring the shimmering Indian Ocean. Activities at The Red Pepper House include a variety of aquatic activities, including snorkelling and fishing.
Visit Lamu Town for a fascinating glimpse into the island's history. Visit the mosques and experience the unique architectural style of the island.
Near to the The Red Pepper House lies a magnificent forest. Originally, the forest served as an impenetrable banner to dissuade invaders, but now exists as home to a wide variety of trees and birds. Behind the lush forest lies a "shamba", or plantation, where a variety of fruit is grown, including mangos, cashews and coconut palms.
This idyllic paradise is ideal for anyone who wants to get away from it all and find a slower pace.
The Red Pepper House is situated on Lamu Island in the Lamu Archipelago off the coast of Kenya.
