Limuru

Limuru is a town in central Kenya, and is located about 30 miles north-west of Nairobi. If you are on a Kenya Safari and heading up to the Masai Mara or Aberdare National Park, you'll drive through it. The town smacks of the colonial days, and is carpeted in tea and coffee plantations and forests of eucalyptus, introduced from Australia.

In Limuru you will find the ultimate white settlers' club. The Kentmere Club is popular with the local residents, and boasts an English country pub complete with wooden beams, fireplace, and a restaurant which serves amazing French cuisine. The Club also has quaint wooden cottages in its gardens which are available for rent. All cottages are equipped with en suite bathrooms.
