Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you'll be taken to Wilson Airport to fly to the Kichwa Tembo airstrip. Once here you'll be met and transferred by road to Bateleur Camp, your home for the following 3 days.

Depending on what time you arrive, enjoy lunch at the lodge before meeting your guide for tea and set out on your afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most spectacular and most popular game reserves in Kenya. The concentration of game in the Mara during the mass migration is mind blowing, and this is one of the few areas where you are likely to see all of the big five - buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion and leopard.

Kichwa Tembo Bateleur is an exclusive tented camp on the boundary of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

While here, you can enjoy twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, spotlit night drives on the camp's wilderness concession, guided nature walks with a Masaai naturalist and sundowners at a secret location that boasts spectacular views across the Mara.

One morning during your stay, wake early and be transferred to the ballooning launch site, from where you will embark on an hour long balloon safari over the vast plains of the Masai Mara. The scenery from the balloon is breath-taking as you float above the diverse habitats of the reserve.

The Big 5 can frequently be viewed from the air as well as many other species of wildlife including; hippo, crocodile, giraffe and zebra.

After a wholesome breakfast, wave a fond farewell to the Mara and drive towards the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
