Mara Simba Lodge is a comfortable lodge on the banks of the Talek River in the Masai Mara. The buildings were designed to complement their surroundings and are decorated in traditional Masai style.

The lodge is set in a landscaped indigenous garden, but most of the property including the riverfront remains untouched. Well-lit pathways link guest rooms to the dining area, bar, shaded deck, pool and shop.

You can enjoy a morning balloon safari for an aerial view of the vast Mara plains, or embark on a guided tour with Mara Simba Lodge's professional naturalist.

A visit to a Masai village can also be arranged which is designed to enhance your awareness of the splendour of the natural environment in the Masai Mara, as well as its people and its culture.

Mara Simba Lodge's restaurant has comprehensive menus offering a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. The bar has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with the stone fireplace being the focal point in the cool of the evening.

Bush breakfasts and dinners, or black tie dinners, can be organised to add to your 'Out of Africa' experience. Traditional Masaai dancers will entertain you while the flaming African sun sinks behind the plains.

Mara Simba Lodge has 84 twin-, double and triple guest rooms, arranged in clusters of 6, in stone and wood bandas (huts).

The rooms are spacious and can accommodate extra beds. Each room has an en suite shower and opens onto a private veranda, overlooking the river.
