Situated on the banks of the Mara River, Olonana is in the heart of Kenya's Big Game country; a unique setting offering a world of remarkable opportunities for safari adventurers.

Life is entirely at your own pace at Olonana. Meals, and certain activities can be tailored according to your wishes and the opportunities presented by the changing patterns of animal activity.

Various activities are offered, and include game drives, bush walks, visits to the adjacent Maasai cultural village which the camp supports, sundowners and bush meals. Game drives are, however, at set times as guests usually have to share vehicles and therefore depart at set times.

Between safari activities you can relax by Olonana's swimming pool, in the lounge/dining cottage or spot game from the large deck outside. Guests also have the opportunity to relax and revitalize at the mini-spa which offers an enticing range of treatments from specialized facial treatments to full body massages.

Meals are nutritious and very creative, and often include fresh produce from the garden. Relax in the comfortable sitting area with some books from the camp library, before enjoying a delicious dinner out on the open veranda overlooking the river, or in the dining room.

Bush and picnic meals are also served out in the heart of the bush, offering a truly wonderful experience with the African wilderness.

Olonana features 14 spacious permanent tents, tastefully appointed with en-suite bathrooms with shower, floor to ceiling mosquito netting and large, river-view verandas, where guests can relax and watch the resident hippos in the river below.
