Kilima Camp is an intimate eco safari lodge, situated in the Masai Mara, and offering superb views across the plains. Dedicated to conservation and the local community, the camp also has a strong eco focus.

Meaning 'mountains' or 'little hill' in Swahili, Kilima Camp is situated on the edge of the Siria escarpment and enjoys amazing views, while being perfectly situated in a game-rich area of the reserve.

Between July & October, the Masai Mara is a hub of activity as the wildebeest begin moving from the Serengeti in Tanzania into the Mara. Kilima also overlooks the Mara River and therefore enjoys unrivalled game viewing of the migration.

Enjoy exciting game drives, guided bush walks and even hot-air balloon trips over the Mara plains while staying at Kilima Camp. Excursions to the nearby community school and Masai manyatta can also be arranged.

The spacious, central dining tent at Kilima Camp is the main meeting space for drinks, meals, games or relaxation.

The chef at Kilima has extensive experience managing safari kitchens, and produces a fine selection of a la carte cuisine, complemented by superb local and international wines.

Dinner is served under canvas in the dining area, but if weather permits, is served under the stars. From soup of the day to African specialties, the more traditional meals are cooked by the local Maasai people outside over the wood fire.

Enjoy drinks around the camp fire or around the bush bar - a wonderful spot to enjoy the sounds of the wilderness.

Kilima Camp has 2 roomy Deluxe tented suites with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping up to 5 people. The tasteful tents each have a wooden deck offering superb views over the Mara Triangle.

There are also 12 Standard tented suites, each with a private veranda and en-suite bathroom. The tents are exceptionally stylish, spacious and comfortable and are fitted with either a double or twin beds.

Children are welcome, with space for a camp bed in any of the 12 standard tents.
