On the pleasant Shimoni and Wasini islands there is authentic Swahili culture and a protected marine reserve. North of Mombasa, towards the exotic town of Kilifi, there are several beaches worth visiting. These include: Nyali, Bamburi, Shanzu, Kikambala and Vipingo.
