Ukunda

This little village on the Mombasa -Tanzania highway is the turn-off point for Diani Beach. It is only about 2kms from here to the Diani Beach Road which stretches north and south.

The beautiful Diana beach extends roughly 12kms along the coast, with white sands, coral reefs that are exposed at low tide, and of course, beachfront hotels.

To get there take one of the regular matatus (taxi van) to the beach - don't be tempted to walk it as this as there is the occasional mugging.
