DiningDinners are an elegant affair at the Mount Kenya Safari Club. Dress is strictly smart casual, ladies are asked not to wear mini-skirts and for gentlemen long trousers are mandatory.

The Club Restaurant features a live band as entertainment to accompany your meal. This restaurant also serves a buffet breakfast and lunch.
At the Mawingo Dining Room, which is only open for à la carte dinners, the atmosphere of bygone days is captured by the sepia prints which line the walls.
Children under the age of 7 are not permitted in the public areas after 18h30, however, they are served dinner in the specially appointed Garden Lounge.
Throughout the day hot drinks and cold beverages are served in the Mountain View Bar & Lounge, with its views over the gardens and the mountains in the distance.
The Trophy Lounge invites you for a drink in its relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of colonial days. The lounge is decorated with a huge central fireplace, weathered Chesterfield sofas, an assortment of antique Arab chests and a splendid array of game trophies.
The Mount Kenya Safari Club has a total of 115 standard and superior rooms set in 100 acres of landscaped gardens. Rooms and suites are housed in the Garden Suites, William Holden Cottages, Riverside Cottages, and the 3 houses, Lenana, Batian & River House.
All rooms have an open log fireplace and an en suite bathroom with shower. Most rooms also have a private veranda that overlooks the river and Mount Kenya. The luxury villas, William Holden cottages and the presidential suite each have a large sitting room where you can lounge around after a busy day.
The suites have a twin or double room with fireplace, lounge, fully stocked mini-bar, private veranda and a large bathroom with sunken bath.
