South Horr

Situated on the road that runs parallel to the shores of Lake Turkana, the village of South Horr is set in a verdant canyon surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks. Bananas and paw paws grown in the valley are brought into town, and there is no petrol available here, but you will be able to get a cup of tea and a bite to eat.
