Finch Hatton's is located in Tsavo West National Park. The tents are set along the edge of a natural freshwater spring which flows through 3 pools and is home to a resident pod of hippopotami. DiningBreakfast and lunch are served al fresco on the open-air terrace, with views across the springs and hippo pools, and beyond to the snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro.
Dinner is a formal 6-course affair served in the main dining room, while the gentle strains of Mozart play in the background. The chef uses fresh Kenyan produce of international export quality to create essentially continental gourmet dishes.
Meals are served whenever you would like and bush breakfasts and sundowners can also be arranged.
Finch Hatton's camp accommodates up to 50 people, in large en suite safari tents. Each tent is furnished with twin beds, a wooden Swahili chest, bookshelves and an antique writing desk. The tents all have hot & cold running water, electricity, brass fittings, large mirrors and a fully stocked mini bar fridge.
Between game viewing activities you can relax on your daybed or at the table on your large deck and take in the panoramic view of the surrounding springs and forests.
