About Me

I was born in Johannesburg. I have lived and worked in Johannesburg, Cape Town, London and San Francisco. Needless to say, I love technology. I am an avid geek and tinkering with gadgets is a passion. I love software and what makes me passionate is creating good products that do something useful for humans. I am not so much into tech for tech's sake but for what it can do for people.

I thrive on the challenges that the tech world brings, and being surrounded by intelligent, like-minded passionate people is what keeps me going.

My passion for travel

Like in the real world? I don't get to travel much, unless you count Google Maps and Wiki Travel! Seriously though, I love to travel but not the getting there part. I am more a resort person than a fan of the roughing-it style destination. I enjoy luxury.

Where have I travelled

I've travelled through parts of South Africa including the Western Cape, the Eastern Cape, Transkei and the Kruger National Park. Internationally, I've visited Amsterdam, London, France, Belgium and the United States.

I most recently travelled to Mauritius and discovered that I was made for resort vacations. Nothing was more relaxing than lounging on a deck chair looking at a beautiful blue sea and doing pretty much nothing else.
