Lesotho is a tiny African country, with most of the highlands free-roaming wilderness areas. There are, however, a number of National Parks and nature reserves, more known for spectacular scenery and rare vegetation than wildlife.

The Sehlabathebe National Park is located in the south-east corner of Lesotho and is the country's oldest reserve. Remote, rugged and wild, it's hard to get to, but the scenery is quite remarkable. It's biggest attractions are the peace and solitude as well as a number of rare endemic birds.

In the highlands of Lesotho is the Tsehlanyane National Park, home to some of Africa's rarest vegation including sub-alpine botanical fynbos.

Tseyhlanyane is also known for Maliba Mountain Lodge, the only luxury lodge of its kind in Lesotho.
