A gem of local history and culture 45 kilometres south of Lesotho's capital Maseru, Morija was the site of Lesotho's first European mission. Today it is a pleasant little town that houses Lesotho's National Museum, as well as the country's oldest building, church, and printing press.
The town is easily accessible and well worth a visit if you're interested in Lesotho's history and culture. You might try to get hold of Murder at Morija by Tim Couzens, which investigates the mysterious poisoning of some of Morija's early missionaries.
