Qachas Nek

Qacha's Nek was founded in 1888 near the beautiful pass of the same name. Like so many towns in Lesotho, Qacha's Nek was originally a mission station and is now a pleasant town with an attractive church and some colonial-style buildings.

The town has an airstrip, making it an important centre for charter flights. Qacha's Nek is the most practical entry point into Lesotho from South Africa's Eastern Cape.
