Roma

Originally a mission town, Roma is now a university town, and beautifully situated among curiously shaped sandstone foothills in a scenic valley 35km southeast of Maseru.

Roma itself is fairly uninspiring, but the surrounding environment is fascinating. The drive to Semonkong is an amazingly beautiful one. To the town's north is the Ha Baroana gallery of Bushmen paintings, which tell the stories of lives past.
