Maliba Mountain Lodge

A luxurious mountain lodge lying within scenic Tsehlanyane National Park in Lesotho.

  • Breathtaking Surrounds - in the remote and pristine Royal Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.

  • Luxurious Rooms - private and tastefully decorated Basotho-style chalets.

  • Botanical Garden - the lodge boasts the highest sub-alpine botanical garden in the world.

Maliba Mountain Lodge is situated within 5 600 hectares of rugged wilderness and mountain terrain which forms part of the Tsehlanyane National Park. The park also includes one of the very few remaining indigenous woodlands in Lesotho.

The main lodge at this exclusive retreat incorporates a bar, wine cellar, restaurant and open viewing deck, all of which provide guests with a relaxing and comfortable environment in which to admire the beautiful highland valley and the tranquil Lesotho landscape.

The chalets at Maliba Mountain Lodge were thoughtfully designed with warmth and comfort being the key elements of focus. With under-floor heating, heated-bed blankets, heated towel rails and heated wall panels in each chalet, you're sure to stay cosy in front of the open fireplace.

Activities at the lodge include hiking on one of 3 nature trails, horse riding on local Lesotho ponies, swimming in natural springs, bird watching, rock climbing, and village and cultural tours.
