Departing from Capital Park Station, follow a slow smooth eastern train route.

Reaching the border between South Africa and Mozambique, the route turns south and crosses into the land-locked nation of Swaziland. Disembark for an afternoon game drive in the magical Mkhaya Reserve.

The rail journey continues, travelling overnight to tropical KwaZulu Natal and stopping for an early morning game drive in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Reserve - a Big 5 destination known for its high predator population, elephant herds and thick undergrowth.

Then it's through the tumbling hills and rich cane fields of KwaZulu Natal to your 'last stop, Durban' - the warm ocean city where hanging out on the beach and surfing are regarded as honourable professions.
