Meals on Rovos Rail are served in one sitting. Rovos Rail have the only luxury trains with the ability to seat all guests in a single sitting in their dining cars, bastions of Victorian charm with ornate furnishings, bone china and silverware.

Dinner is a suave affair and in keeping with the elegant luxury rail atmosphere, guests are required to dress formally (minimum requirement of jacket and tie for gentleman).
