South Africa's Blue Train combines the needs and desires of a modern world with the romance and elegance of traditional luxury coach travel in Africa.

You may be forced to go without modern luxuries like satellite television, movies and music on other luxury coach travel, but the Blue Train is all about having the best of both worlds.

By day your private Blue Train Suite is a luxury lounge. A writing desk with comfortable lounge chairs is positioned next to the large glass window, and is a perfect for daydreaming or for scribbling a letter while the South African landscape rolls by in colourful dips and swells.

At night, your Blue Train butler will convert your suite into a luxury bedroom. Drift off to sleep wrapped in 100 percent percale cotton linen, goose down duvets and pillows while you quietly glide the rails across South Africa.

All Blue Train suites have an en suite marble-tiled bathroom, under-floor heating, personal air-conditioning, telephones and a room safe.

The Blue Train Deluxe Suites are available in two luxury options. Enjoy twin beds with an en-suite shower or choose a Deluxe Double Bed Suite and have an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and handheld shower.

The Blue Train has a private butler for every luxury coach, and are there to cater for your every whim. All Blue Train suites have a digital media centre complete with satellite television, CD and DVD libraries.

You can even tune into a conductor's-eye-view camera and watch the world in front of the Blue Train. Room service is available at all hours of your Blue Train luxury coach travels.
