Twenty-first century chic meets international, understated glamour at Villa Two. Tones are muted and take their cue from the pale turquoise of the ocean horizon. Blond woods, touches of steel and warm earth monochromes combine to set off the original contemporary artworks. The emphasis is on both comfort and style; neither has been sacrificed here.
Bantry Bay is an exclusive enclave that lies on the Atlantic Seaboard before you reach the Blue Flag beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Leafy and quiet, it is an easy drive to all the key attractions such as the V&A Waterfront, vibrant city centre and Table Mountain. As a residential area, there are few restaurants and stores in Bantry Bay but Ellerman House has a dedicated chauffeur service that is active within a defined radius around the property, which is perfectly sited to be protected from the prevailing southeaster wind and to offer glorious ocean views.
Ellerman Villa Two is ideal for discerning families and groups of friends looking for sophisticated style and comfort with every convenience on tap.
Head for the Cape from November to March for blue summer skies and long days on the beach although you can expect busy restaurants and beaches in the December and January high season. Visit in March and April for cooler days, less wind and far fewer visitors.
The May to September winter is a season of cool to mild sunny days interrupted by regular periods of rain. It is the time for long drives along rugged coastlines and tasting fine Cape vintages in the rolling vineyards of the Cape Winelands.

The fully-equipped kitchen is a foodie’s dream, from the walk-in cold room to the separate scullery. The pantry is stocked with a delectable array of quality treats and your private chef will be permanently on call to create tasty meals and snacks that take into account your preferences, allergies and any another dietary restrictions you may have.
Elegantly furnished, the main bedroom opens up onto a private terrace that is a wonderful spot to enjoy a morning espresso or an evening nightcap. Bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, plenty of storage space, dressing tables and a sitting area, all in a pared-down, modern-yet-classic style.
The two guest bedrooms echo the master bedroom’s deluxe furnishings and fittings, and also open out onto private balconies with spectacular views.
Spacious open-plan bathrooms clad in pale marble and fitted with bathtubs, double vanities, showers and heated towel rails accompany each bedroom. The freeform tubs have tranquil views over the Atlantic Ocean.
The open-plan living area flows out onto a wrap-around timber terrace and is dotted with comfortable sofas and chairs in pale sky-blue tones. Laid-back and sunny, it is an unpretentious space for enjoying a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc, catching up on your reading or merely enjoying uninterrupted time with your family and friends.
No need to head for the beach: the infinity-edge pool is footsteps away should you need to cool down after recharging in the African sun. The sunny and sheltered terrace is also perfect for alfresco meals prepared by your private chef while gazing out over the ebbing tide and incoming ships and yachts.
