Each of the villas is built around a private central courtyard that is entered into through antique doors. Kili Villas strike a careful balance between rustic and sophisticated; elegant and cosy. Textures run the gamut of stone-packed walls and cool white mosquito nets while the sitting areas are laid out under exposed wooden beams and warmed by open fireplaces. The comfortable sofas, chairs and 4-poster beds are bolstered by occasional pops of colour in the form of scatter cushions, tapestry rugs, punched lanterns and chandeliers. The emphasis is firmly on laidback airiness.
