Lying at Beau Champ on the balmy east coast of Mauritius, Anahita is an idyllic playground for large families or groups of friends who want the natural beauty of the beach on their doorstep. Consisting of five spacious bedrooms – all en suite – the villa has views of Ile aux Cerfs and is serviced by a private chef and a discreet butler.
In fact, Anahita is the ultimate combination of tropical bliss outside and modern convenience inside. The resort has five restaurants should you feel like dining out, an Ernie Els championship golf course and different clubs for the under-18s.
Your villa is kitted out with complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, walk-in showers and closets and a private swimming pool. It is the ideal destination for a fun-loving, multi-generational family who want a beach vacation that does not sacrifice style, comfort or convenience in any way.

Anahita is a thoughtful combination of a laidback island atmosphere and modern chic. Think open-plan expanses that lead to lush lawns, gardens and sparkling swimming pools, and allow the cooling tropical breezes to pass through. Colours are neutral and natural, and the comfortable, contemporary furniture is punctuated with rustic pieces hewn from weathered wood. Rooms are whitewashed and strung with exposed beams, and chandeliers are composed from irregular beads. It all adds up to an informal, ‘kick off your shoes’ style that makes you and your family feel right at home.
Anahita is situated on the east coast of Mauritius at Beau Champ. Nearby is Ile aux Cerfs, a breath-taking coastline of capes and coves where Anahita has a 300m-long private white sandy beach. But there is so much more to this immaculate resort than ‘just’ the beach. There is a self-contained waterfront ‘village’ that is a hive of upscale boutiques, separate kids’ and teens’ club, an Ernie Els-designed golf course and tennis courts – great for a multi-generational family travelling together where it is important that there is ‘something for everyone’.
Although you have a private chef who will not only stock your kitchen with your favourite treats and whip up a delectable array of breakfasts, lunches, BBQs and suppers, Anahita village also has five top-notch restaurants to choose from. Vu Bar offers live entertainment and snacks, all with a picture-perfect view of Ile aux Cerfs beach. Origine specialises in a fusion of Western and Mauritian flavours for breakfast and dinner, while Bliss’s chef promises down-to-earth lunches and a tastebud-stimulating degustation menu for dinner. For high tea, make a stop at Sugar & Spice while Domaine de L’Etoile, situated in an indigenous forest 15 minutes from the resort, takes diners on a culinary voyage in glorious natural surroundings.
With five bedrooms, ample living space and plenty to see and do, Anahita Villa is perfect for a multi-generational family or large group of friends travelling together as part of a bucket-list vacation or a special occasion blow-out.
While the east coast of Mauritius is considered a year-round destination, it can be windier between January and February, and June and July. The August to December summer season is considered the best time to stay.
The gourmet kitchen is likely to be the domain of your personal chef – who will whip up all sorts of delicious treats for you – but should you venture into it you will discover a modern space filled with most of the modern conveniences to ensure a hassle-free holiday. The pantry will be stocked before you arrive and seamlessly replenished as needed.
The main bedroom has a large bed in tranquil tones, with air conditioning ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. There is a spacious walk-in closet and a flat-screen LCD TV.
The four guest bedrooms have double beds and the same casual yet comfortable style found throughout the villa, as well as vast walk-in closets and flat-screen DVDs.
Each of the en suite bathrooms has a walk-in shower, spacious tub, double vanity, luxurious bathrobes and a hair dryer.
The open-plan living and dining areas are perfectly designed to make the most of Mauritius’s sun-drenched days. In the evenings, snuggle in front of a DVD or catch up with the world using the complimentary Wi-Fi.
In addition to the water features, private gardens and large swimming pool that leads off the deck, the outside area has plenty of sun loungers and peaceful lounge spots for enjoying an alfresco breakfast or just relaxing with a cup of coffee and a good book.
