Zambia’s subtropical climate is defined by distinct wet and dry seasons as opposed to summer or winter. The wet season begins in November and runs until April; the dry season from May to October. While the dry season offers better game viewing, the best time to see Victoria Falls is at the end of the rainy season (March to May) when the Zambezi River is in full flood. September and October are usually very hot and dry months.
During the dry season, you might need to cross to the Zimbabwean side to view the falls as the Zambian side of Victoria Falls can run dry. However, this is the best time for thrill-seekers to take a dip in the Devil’s Pool, a natural rock pool that sits right on the edge of the falls, or enjoy the rush of the world's best one-day white-water rafting.
Chuma House enjoys Internet access and 24-hour electricity.
A modern and fully-equipped kitchenette provides ample space for your private chef to conjure up excellent cuisine on demand and serve it wherever you please.
