Villa Andacasa’s decorative style is down to earth and the space exudes a warm atmosphere that is conducive to uninhibited relaxation. Only about 20km from central Cape Town and approached via one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives, Llandudno is an affluent neighbourhood that lies nestled in a cove with a pristine white-sand beach that is popular with surfers and residents. Although Llandudno boasts very upscale properties, the areas is reminiscent of small a coastal town and there are no street lights or shops of any kind. A 20-minute walk from Sunset Rocks brings you to Sandy Bay – a famous naturalist beach – and a 5-minute drive takes you over the hill to the fishing village of Hout Bay, where there are plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment for the whole family. A little bit further away are the world-class wine estates of Constantia and their award-winning restaurants, not to mention the scenic meander of Chapman’s Peak Drive.

Between November and April is considered the best time to visit Cape Town, when you are almost guaranteed sunny days that are often breezy. However, during this period expect the city to be quite busy and it might take a little longer than expected to move around if you have a jam-packed schedule. The weather can still be reasonably relied upon between March and April when it is a little cooler and there are not as many people around.
