Plettenberg Bay is best visited in the November to March summer months when you can enjoy long, hot days and balmy nights. Beaches are lively in the December/January high season and visitors should book well ahead for restaurants.
Winters are cooler and wetter and best spent in front of the fireplace with a good book, although the long sunny periods in between rain are perfect for exploring outdoors. If you want to see whales, then the best time to visit is over the August to October spring months.
A large country-style kitchen serves the main house and offers a walk-in cold room, separate scullery, and a laundry/linen room. Fully-equipped with modern amenities that include a gas oven and double fridge/freezer, the kitchen promises easy holiday living. The west wing of the villa offers a smaller kitchenette for added convenience.
Rich fabrics and sumptuous furnishings make the spacious master bedroom an elegant and luxurious abode. A romantic 4-poster double bed takes centre stage in the room, which further features an adjoining study and en suite bathroom.
