“An absolute treat! Stylish and elegant, this impressive villa is an exceptional property with everything you could wish for in a holiday villa.”Christine Mischker, Africa Villas Expert
Simply yet stylishly furnished, luxurious Sasso House is all about the spellbinding views of the turquoise Atlantic Ocean and majestic Twelve Apostles. Light and open-plan, the living spaces are elegant but homely with neutral sofas, Scandinavian woods and classic chrome-and-glass tables. Bedrooms are neutral and graceful, the decor not detracting from the spectacular views.
Home to a beautiful palm-lined beachfront with cosmopolitan cafés and sunset-facing beach bars, Camps Bay has an easy-going feel, a tiny sliver of St Tropez at the foot of Africa. Spend the day on one of South Africa’s nearby Blue-Flag beaches, sip colourful cocktails and watch the world pass by or try some of the excellent cuisine on offer at the many restaurants. It is only a 10-minute drive from Camps Bay to the Cape Town city centre, the famous V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain.
Sasso House is perfect for small families with older children and groups of friends looking for a casual, independent-minded holiday in a glamorous and stylish environment.
Head to Cape Town from November to March for sultry summer days and cocktail-sipping nights but be prepared for crowded beaches and busy restaurants during the December-January high season. It is hot in February but temperatures in March and April cool down to deliver beautiful, wind-free late-summer days, and there are far fewer visitors.
The cooler winter months begin in May and last until September. Most of the year's rain falls at this time but the long periods of mild and sunny weather in between rainy days are perfect for discovering the city’s rich cultural history and magnificent winelands.
The modern all-white kitchen is spacious and light with its deluxe gas stove and two fridges promising easy dining. A fully-equipped scullery is adjacent to the kitchen and a sleek breakfast bar opens onto the open-plan dining and living rooms.
An upper-level setting gives the luxuriantly spacious master bedroom breathtaking vistas while its soft down-lighting enhances rich, natural hues to create a warm, welcoming ambience. A king-sized bed dressed in crisp white bed linen takes centre stage and commands spellbinding ocean views, and a comfortably-furnished lounge area with plasma-screen television offers the perfect place to relax. Large sliding doors open onto a wide deck and garden overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The second and third guest bedrooms are elegantly furnished in a classic contemporary style and open onto a wide, private terrace with incredible ocean views. The fourth bedroom is situated on the lower level with a separate entrance to the main house and features a queen-sized bed, a spacious lounge with satellite television and an en suite bathroom. An optional inter-leading room with a single bed is available.
A beautifully-designed en suite bathroom accompanies the master bedroom, styled in black and white and featuring a magnificent bath, double vanities and large walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms share a spacious bathroom with a beautiful ball-and-claw bath tub and large walk-in shower.
The villa's voluminous living and dining areas flow effortlessly into one another and connect to the terrace via floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. Stylish, contemporary sofas and retro glass coffee tables add a touch of glamour, while an ornate gas fireplace and creamy, natural hues create a sense of tranquil harmony. A convenient guest bathroom is housed just off the kitchen and dining area, whose 10-seater dining table promises convivial entertaining.
A shimmering porcelain-tiled terrace and pool deck flow into a turquoise-blue salt-water pool and the incredible sea views beyond. Stylish sun loungers offer the perfect place to soak up the sun and a modern gas barbeque and outdoor dining area promise hot summer nights of dining under the stars.
