Llandudno Villas

Home > Accommodation > Villas > Neighbourhoods > Llandudno

Llandudno lies about a 20-minute drive from central Cape Town's, its classic, white-sand beach strung between magnificent granite boulders.

Many visitors unwittingly shoot straight past the Llandudno turnoff as they cruise the incredibly scenic road between Camps Bay and Cape Point but ask any local and they are sure to agree: this crescent of soft sand along the Atlantic Ocean is one of the city’s finest beaches.

Llandudno beach offers a more relaxed experience than its glamorous neighbours of Camps Bay or Clifton, and the complete lack of hotels, bars, shops, restaurants, parking lots - or even street lights! - encourages a laid-back atmosphere. A holiday rental here means being within walking distance of the beach while having all the mod cons – air conditioning, swimming pool and Wi-Fi – back at your ‘home from home’.

Our Llandudno villas lie between this idyllic beach and the steep, fynbos-covered slopes of Table Mountain National Park. Wander down the hill from your luxurious home and you’ll emerge on a stretch of dazzling sand dotted with beach umbrellas, here and there a game of beach bats or Frisbee, and to the right a handful of surfers carving patterns on the waves.

The Llandudno-villa lifestyle is a relaxed and easy one: wake up early and join the local surfers for their morning session or have a lazy lie-in while listening to the waves crash on the shore; enjoy an afternoon barbecue on your sunny pool deck and evening sundowners looking down on the candlelit beach picnics as the sun sinks into the Atlantic Ocean.

Although there are no restaurants in Llandudno itself, you will not have to miss out on Cape Town’s fine dining scene. It is about a 10-minute drive to the ocean-facing restaurants in Camps Bay or, for a greater selection of gourmet fare, continue another 10 minutes over Kloofnek and into the Cape Town city centre or around the coast to the restaurant-packed V&A Waterfront

Our team of experienced Villa Experts are here to tailor-make your dream vacation.

Since there are no shops in Llandudno, stock up on snacks in next-door Hout Bay: try the lovely little delicatessen called Deli Delish or – if it’s the weekend – the Bay Harbour Market for organic produce and locally-produced treats.
