Camps Bay Villas

Home >Villas > Neighbourhoods > Camps Bay

With the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range as its backdrop, the fashionable enclave of Camps Bay overlooks the sky-blue Atlantic Ocean and a gently curving palm-fringed beach.

Just a 10-minute drive from the Cape Town city centre, this postcard-perfect stretch of white sand is as famous for its magnificent setting as it is for its hip restaurants, cocktail bars and sidewalk cafés.

Camps Bay is, without doubt, one of Cape Town’s favourite beaches. During summer, the beachfront is a cheerful buzz of the beautiful people and happy families soaking up the sun. The air is filled with the sounds of beach bats and volleyball while across the road, bustling restaurants spill out onto the pavement and barefoot, sunglassed patrons gaze at the sea or admire super cars over seafood salads and chilled chardonnay.

Set slightly back from all the activity, our glamorous villas make a great change from Camps Bay hotels and put you within easy walking distance of the sea and sand. Not only do these luxurious villas offer an indulgent end to a day on the beach but you also become one of the privileged few to experience the local side to Camps Bay life. Wake up when the beach is still quiet and bathed in the golden light of morning, and join the pre-breakfast walkers, runners and kayakers. Or stroll down to Vida e Caffé (with the friendliest baristas in the country) for take-away gourmet coffee and croissants to enjoy on your ocean-facing balcony.

To top it all off, Camps Bay boasts the best sunsets in Cape Town. Choose a beachside bar, order your favourite drink and watch the sun melt into the ocean. And chances are your sun-downers will blend into dinner: Paranga is famous for its cocktails and sushi while busy-on-weekends Caprice is a great option during the week; The Grand serves up classic French-styled cuisine or try local favourite Mezepoli for delicious Mediterranean tapas.

Our team of experienced Villa Experts are here to tailor-make your dream vacation.

Camps Bay beach gets pretty crowded during peak-season December and January so for a quieter stretch of sand, take your towel round the corner to the locals' secret: Glen Beach – a sheltered cove tucked away behind the boulders to the right of the main beach.
