Kamuzu International Airport

Kamuzu International is located 22 kilometres (13 miles) north of Lilongwe. The majority of visitors fly in to Kamuzu International. Relatively young, the airport only opened in 1982. The result is a clean, modern airport that is way bigger than its present traffic requires.

SAA runs daily flights (except on Saturdays) between Kamuzu International and Johannesburg. Air Malawi (QM) has flights from Johannesburg to Kamuzu International on Saturdays, and from Kamuzu International to Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays.
